Back in May of 2006, the National Post's Nathalie Atkinson did a great two page feature on buying sheets for the cottage with Au Lit Fine Linens. We love the cute photo of Peggy and Joanna!
In the article, Joanna provides the same advice we still use for our customers when it comes to washing and drying your sheets:
"The care for 220 thread count and for 1,030 thread count is exactly the same. With Egyptian cotton woven in Italy, you throw it in the wash, but not the dryer. That's the one thing that will really damage your sheets - an hour in a hot dryer. What's funny, is that no one goes out and buys a $1,000 suit and throws it in the dryer!"
